I read about current events constantly, and at some point I realized a couple things. First, that a lot of people have never heard of many of these events. Second, that some of the events we do hear about can slip by unnoticed, because they rely on unfamiliar terms or bureaucratic processes that are easy to tune out. Those quiet ones are frequently the ones doing the deepest damage to our democracy, chipping away at decades of court precedent or centuries-old constitutional interpretation. I wanted a single place that gathers these events and makes them easy to find and easy to understand. This resource is as much a tool for myself as one I want to share to help others.
Every event here is anchored to sources that are not behind a paywall, so anyone can read and verify what they find. I embedded almost every source into this site so key information is backed up and viewable, even if the original link goes dead. The resource works at whatever depth you want, from a two-line summary to the full court record. I will continue to update events, add new ones and rewrite summaries for as long as Trump and his enablers continue causing damage.

I hope this project changes a few minds. If you’re skeptical, don’t take my word for anything. Pick any event and read its sources. That’s what they’re there for. And for the people who already see that the Trump administration, and the complicity that surrounds it, is harming our society and eroding our democracy, I hope it serves as a useful resource you can turn to and share.
